Sensitization CME on PMDT (Programmatic Management of Drug Resistant Tuberculosis) was held on 06/04/2013 at Lecture Theatre -1, BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur for Faculty members and Residents. The CME was organised by RNTCP core committee of BRD Medical College. The CME was presided by Dr KP Kushwaha (Principal/ Chairman RNTCP Core committee), Dr PK Mishra (DTO Gorakhpur), Dr Manish Kumar Singh (Nodal Officer-RNTCP) and Dr Dr Umesh Chandra Tripathi (WHO -RNTCP Consultant). There were presentations on PMDT by Dr Umesh Chandra Tripathi (WHO -RNTCP Consultant) and Paediatric Tuberculosis by Dr KP Kushwaha. Dr PK Mishra (DTO) briefed us on future involvement of medical college in PMDT programme and setting up of Drug Resistant TB ward.
